Well done to our 27 chess players who participated in the Interschool Chess Tournament last Wednesday!

Congratulations to the top girl players; Amy K received the silver medal and Grace W who received the bronze medal;

and also to our top team who received the bronze medal in the Junior Division!  These players were Thomas W, Grace W, Lewie H, and William F.

In total there were 78 players from different schools in the Wellington region including:

• Karori West Normal
• Kilbirnie School
• Newlands College
• Ridgway School
• Wilford School

Every player participated in 7 games.  Games were graded so players versed opponents of similar skill.
