Parentlink (Community Building and Fundraising)
Parentlink: Who are we?
Parentlink are a group of parents who volunteer their time to help support and build our school community and to raise funds to support the school and our children's learning environment.
We welcome new members and encourage new ideas and skills from our school community.
Annual events:
The Parentlink Team coordinate and organise a number of events and fundraising opportunities over the year.
Term 1 - Family Movie Night
Term 2 - Runathon, Matariki Celebrations
Term 3 - School Disco, Art Te Aroha (every second year)
Term 4 - Calendars, School Market Night

Where is the money being spent?
Each year we aim to raise $20,000 to support the school’s needs and occasionally unexpected expenditure.
Fundraising may for example go towards continued library development, digital infrastructure, improvement of the Innovative Learning Environment, playground development and teaching or learning support in the arts. On a smaller scale we continue to subsidise t-shirts for sporting and cultural events and contribute to the senior student's Leavers Dinner and the Junior Christmas Party.
