Te Whanaungatanga Kapa haka festival

Te Whanaungatanga Kapa Haka Festival at St Patrick’s Hall Tuesday 23 October, 9:30 – 2pm.

Our performance time is 12:20 and will last 12 – 15 minutes.

Please make sure that the Kapa Haka group permission slips to attend the festival have been returned. As this event is out of school, it is vital that we have your permission to leave the school grounds. We will be walking down after 9am bell, for a pōwhiri at 9:30.

Nga Kotiro - Girls: please be at school by 8:40 and changed into your costumes before 9am.

Nga Tama – Boys: boys are to wear black pants or shorts on the day and an old kilbirnie t-shirt. Meet in the multi media room from 8.30am for your sash to be pinned on.

Kai: please bring your koha kai in a named container to the multi-media room by 9am. Please note that as Tangata Whenua (hosts) of this event this kai is intended for adults and staff, and our students are to have a fully packed lunch provided as usual.
